A 32-story, 55-unit condominium located in Manhattan installed Alert Labs flood detection solution to mitigate the risk of water damage. Within weeks of installation, the Alert Labs sensors sensors and platform sent a text message telling the maintenance team that there was a flood on the 10th floor in a homeowner’s ensuite bathroom. The facility manager on duty quickly responded and fixed the cause: a burst pipe under the sink. The condo avoided approximately $200,000 in damage.

The flood would have been disastrous because two units and a common area are directly below the unit with the burst pipe. We estimate about $200k in damage was avoided.
