A top retail bank with over 1,200 locations in North America faced increasing water damage repair costs from leaks. To mitigate the risk of water damage, the bank’s integrated facility management (IFM) service provider installed Alert Labs water leak detection systems across bank branches and various office towers owned by the bank. One of the properties is a large retail center and office tower located in Toronto, Canada. In March, the AlertAQ™ water insights platform detected several leak events. Potential damages were estimated to be over $100,000.
